To engage, motivate and enthuse learners and broaden their horizons

To introduce the concept of work , different types of work and the idea of work skills

In delivering the Economic Education element of PSHE

To demonstrate how classroom learning is applied in the world of work

To assist cross-curricula delivery of Maths, English and Science

To plan and deliver themed days /weeks focused on the world of work

To prepare learners for transition into Key Stage 4

To stimulate discussion and develop,  Speaking and Listening,  and vocabulary at all Key Stages
